    ESCUDERO ENDORSES NOYNOY

Shown above is the advertisement purported to be released and aired tomorrow on television featuring Sen. Francis "Chiz" Escudero endorsing Liberal standard bearer Sen. Noynoy Aquino.

In a report based on a Pulse Asia survey on top political endorser, Jing CastaƱeda of ABS-CBN said:
"Tanging ang i-eendorso ni Senador Francis Escudero ang posibleng iboto ng publiko ayon sa 39% ng mga sinerbey."
Escudero remains popular among the electorate despite opting out the presidential race last year. He is reported to have lend his media team to Aquino, who since then arrested what analylists said  a declining trend. Noynoy Aquino holds a stable 37% solid support. Escudero's endorsement is said to be the answer to President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's almost mythical "kiss of death."  Chiz, as the senator is widely known, is  second only to the Church (with a rating of 40%) as the top endorser, and even beat Kris Aquino, Noynoy's younger sister, with her 31%. He is one of the most trusted public official in the land with his trust rating never going below 70%.

Meanwhile, rival Nacionalista Presidential bet Manny Villar enjoys the endorsement of noontime TV show host Willie Revillame and boxing sensation Manny Pacquaio. Both personalities is at par with Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. Revillame, Pacquaio and Arryo's "endorsement could spell defeat for a candidate running for public office." (SEE: A Political Kiss of Death in the Philippines).

In the same TV report, CastaƱeda said "41% naman ang ‘di boboto sa i-eendorsong kanddato ni Pangulong Marcos" The deposed dictator's son Bongbong Marcos is running for senator under the slate of Nacionalista Party.
